This version of the original WHOOKOS logo was created by the original BalckBelt Dolphin. Unlike the first version of the logo, this image was taken from an animated sequence that we used for some of our old videos. Below is the original description by BBD:

I created an intro for We Have Our Own Kind of Smart using 3D Imaging software that basically renders this finished image out of a laser-cutter (hence the residual sparks in the image).

I created the finished image out of two-dimensional splines overlapping the original Whookos Logo (rendered in photoshop a few years ago). If the splines are placed in a Sweeps Nurbs along with a tiny circular spline, the original spline forms that tubular shape you see (the diameter of the circle spline). The neon glow is just a custom mat.
